Amazing Barn Find Prewar Classics

Barn Find OCW feature storyCheck out my feature story appearing in the October 11, 2007 issue of Old Cars Weekly about an amazing barn find of prewar classics from a Maryland collector.

A client firm retained me to help with the collection’s purchase, removal, and eventual resale of selected vehicles. We’re not talking about ordinary Model Ts, though a few were part of the stash. We’re talking about three Lincoln V12s with custom coachwork, a 1934 Packard Twelve convertible coupe, a very rare 1931 Renault Reinastella town cabriolet by Kellner, Pierce Arrows, Cadillacs… the list goes on.

To any car nut, this kind of experience is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity–the automotive equivalent of King Tut’s tomb.
